First off,I could smell it as soon as I grabbed the box.Upon opening,jar was filled to the top,& the scent was tangy,sweet,& so good.I used a little more than a quarter amount,& it created a super thick,rich lather in my hair.I noticed my hair did feel a bit dry after using,but I followed up with the conditioner,& problem solved.The smell lasted the whole day,which I was thrilled about!
